We are looking for a Network Performance and Reporting Engineer (Maternity Cover) to join our team in Bucharest!

Main activities and tasks:

  • Use and operate with Network Performance tools as Foresight and different Vendor tools.
  • Understand different networks (vendors); support for planning changes following the CNP details. Provide reports in time to meet projects timescale;
  • Create network performance reports to support Projects implementation, interacting with Design or Operations departments;
  • Respond to adhoc requests regarding network capacity reports or specific analysis required by the customer and send feedback in proper time;
  • Ability to perform an UAT for any new CORE nodes integration on the performance platform (Foresight).
  • Deliver regular BAU capacity reports (quarterly/monthly/weekly/daily) with analysis for any anomalies observed on the KPIs trends;
  • Understanding network to provide capacity reviews and forecasts reports;
  • Perform any automation work for redundant reports, where is feasible;
  • Acting as a mentor for a new entry team member;
  • Maintaining and complying with performance measures for delivery and efficiency.
  • Raising Helix Incident Cases for any tool or KPI reporting issue;
  • Provide reports to allow SLA / business targets to be achieved;
  • Follow the Core Support Tracker (CST) to track the events assigned and to understand the impacted nodes that need to be monitored and path for existing performance reports;
  • Performs other tasks within the scope of the role, as requested by the immediate supervisor, within the limits of own professional competence (e.g., reports, analyses, support for specific projects, etc.).

 

Required Education & Trainings:

  • Technical University degree – Telecommunication/ IT or related

 

Required Experience:

  • At least 2 years professional experience in telecom area and system troubleshooting, including network Performance and reporting experience.
  • Relevant experience of working in an environment of change involving new systems, new processes and multicultural environment;
  • Experience in managing complex change events within a live mobile network;
  • Strong technical background in the Telecommunication / IT industry;
  • Proven track record of delivery and achieving results on the area of interest.

 

Specific skills & technical knowledge:

  • Proven knowledge of Ericsson, Nokia and Mavenir Network platforms to enable the creations of reports;
  • Capability on Performance platforms such as Foresight (Tech Mahindra) to allow reports to be built and maintained.
  • Excellent Excel skills using VB Basic Macros, Formulas, Pivot tables etc;
  • Fluent communication in English (Written & Verbal), including understanding of technical terms and phrases;
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team;
  • Ability to perform job functions to standards under pressure of tense/confrontational situations;
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult customers and/or situations;
  • Ability to provide concise and clear, written and verbal reports;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Proven ability to interact with diverse customers in a multi-cultural environment;
  • Willingness to new challenges and adopt innovative delivery mechanisms;
  • Structured and methodical, detailed conscious planner;
  • Advanced knowledge for Microsoft Office Pack;
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills in English;
