We are looking for a Radio Optimization Engineer (Mid-Level) to join our team in Bucharest and support radio network optimization and performance monitoring activities across 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G technologies by executing KPI monitoring, troubleshooting and controlled parameter adjustments in accordance with defined processes and whitelist governance.

Main activities and tasks:
Analyze and monitor RAN performance (2G/3G/4G/5G) at network and regional level using dashboards and PM tools
Identify KPI deviations, correlate with CRs, incidents, outages and events, and perform troubleshooting within whitelist parameter scope
Support handling of customer complaints related to radio coverage and performance through KPI and basic trace analysis
Perform scheduled parameter and feature consistency checks and support correction through CR implementation
Execute whitelist parameter tuning (tilt, power, mobility parameters) within approved limits and perform pre/post KPI validation
Support cluster and worst-cell optimization activities based on PM counters
Assist in interference analysis (RSSI, alarms, noise checks) and coordinate with field teams when required
Raise and track CRQ/service requests and monitor impact of implemented changes
Support public event monitoring and KPI reporting activities
Support verification of new RAN elements and newly introduced services within assigned scope
Maintain proper documentation and tracking of optimization activities in accordance with defined procedures
Perform additional tasks within the defined RAN optimization scope as assigned by management
Required Education & Trainings:
MSc. or BSc. in Telecoms or Electrical/Electronic engineering
Good knowledge of Radio Performance Counters
Good knowledge of mobile network architectures
Required Experience:
Minimum 2 years of work experience in Radio Network Optimization
Good knowledge of Radio Access Technologies (GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR)
Experience in radio access site performance monitoring and cluster optimization
Proven experience in radio network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, interference analysis and validation of new RAN elements and services
Specific skills & technical knowledge:
