Engineer will be responsible for the preparation and implementation of all required data for any allocated tasks contained in the Fixed Network (FNE) and Boxswap projects, or other similar project work. The activities are planned work and scheduled with engineers on site. This will also include any follow up actions and clear and concise communications with all relevant parties. These tasks are to be performed to the high-quality level expected by the customer. These activities will also include production and maintenance of all required process documentation. Engineer must be flexible in their work attitude and can tackle new tasks to a successful conclusion. Engineer must have the ability to work under stress and to time scales.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Main activities and tasks:
· Implementation of Fixed Network Element (FNE) tasks, site reparenting, IUR builds, etc.
· Implementation of TX Migration project (Boxswap) tasks, transport migrations, swaps, etc.
· Provide technical assistance to Connect 44 Technical Solutions group when required.
Required Education & Training:
· English language and experience of working on Ericsson BSS / RAN / LTE / ENM platform is an essential. Experience of working in a live network environment preferable.
· Required Experience:
· Ericsson 2G & 3G BSS / RAN Reparenting and Configuration.
· Ericsson 2G & 3G BSS / RAN Configuration.
· Ericsson 4G & 5G LTE / NG-RAN Configuration.
